HS 33: We’re LIVE
Despite technical difficulties at the beginning of the broadcast the Holy Shatt crew pulled off a successful live stream. We’ve had this in the works for months now so we’re really excited that we pulled it off. Of course such a special occasion couldn’t exclude special guests. We filled our Skype call to the max with three lovely ladies from the Maxim Gamer Girl contest. The girls floored us with their knowledge and we had a great round table/interview on our favorite memories, and moments, from video games. Of course being a World of Warcraft podcast we made sure to include some WoW news. Tune in to hear about the Razer Naga mouse giveaway, World of Warcraft news, and the Maxim Gamer Girl interview. - Razer Naga Contest
- Runs from April 15th to May 13th.
- We will record every user name in the ustream chat. You must have a registered user name.
- Every time we record your name you get on entry. So for example if you show up to every live show from April 15th to May 13th you would have 5 entries.
- The winner will be announced during the May 13th live show. In order to win you MUST be in the live show on the 13th so you can message us your street address so we can ship the mouse to you. If you are not in the live show and your name is drawn your entries will be void and we will draw another name.
- The time card contests will continue during this time.
- World of Wacraft News
- New PvP battleground has been announced. The temple of Kotmogu. The objective will be to hold onto a ball. Players will earn increased points the closer to the center of the map they hold the ball. I’m really excited about this one looks like a lot of fun.
- World boss Galleon reveiled. I wonder if this is a complete name ripoff from Lunar…MMO champion players attempted to down the boss with 80 players…they only got him down to 65%. Maybe this is tuned for level 90?
- A new druid spell, Symbiosis, allows a Druid to steal and use a spell from another class of character. MMO Chamption has a list of all these spells.
- New Raid videos up. Heart of Fear. Currently the videos only show the raid environment itself. No mobs, or bosses have been added. Still a work in progress, but I haven’t seen art this impressive since Uldar.
- Currently the MoP beta is on wave 5, another 250,000 invites went out on the 12th of April brining the current total to 800,000 annual pass holders currently in the beta.
